Happy 1st Birthday to our niece and God-daughter, Claire Grace!!! Isn't she cute? :)
Claire's actual birthday was last week, but her party was on Sunday. It worked out well because my brother's birthday was Saturday...so we got to celebrate both of their special days at one big party!
Since Claire and Brynn are only 3 weeks apart, it's so fun to see them together. They are actually starting to notice each other now. They kept wanting to touch each other's faces and kept kind of screaming at each other. So cute. Claire seems quite a bit older than Brynn. She walks, says several words, knows where her nose is, and just acts a bit older than Brynn. We know B will catch up, but for now the 3 weeks seems like a big difference.
After Claire's Birthday party, we went straight to Waukee to a Halloween Party at Cary's aunt and uncle's house. There were quite a few kids there - all relatives - and most in costume! Here are some photos of our nephews:

So Holly and I found this crazy little wig and decided to see what our daughters would look like with a ton of hair. :)
Then it was time for the mummy wrap. Grandma Bobbi and Brynn got into it...
And so did Cary...
I've never seen Cary look so good....
And then it was time to play in the gym for a bit. Carter loved that big wheel.
The walk back to our car was interesting. Pitch black with older cousins out hiding in the trees waiting to scare the younger kids. Aunt Bobbye also has some really scary Halloween decorations out. Like photographs that look like they're looking at you and big glowing ghost pictures in the yard. Needless to say, Carter slept with a light on and his door open last night! :)
