Here are some things that I heard about the weekend:
-The kids laid down for naps at 2:00 and didn't fall asleep until 3:30. Carter wanted to sleep in the pack-n-play in the same room as Katelyn. Katelyn sat right next to him and tried to sing him to sleep.
-Carter was OBSESSED with the black train. No surprise there! He wanted to play it the whole time and Katelyn got a little frustrated with him for that.
-The slip-n-slide was a hit, and even Dad joined in the fun.
-Carter and Katelyn played very well together and laughed a ton! There were no tears or fights.
-Bedtime wasn't easy. I called at 10:00 and talked to Carter who sounded very wound up. He couldn't wait to tell me about the slip-n-slide and the lanterns in the sky.
-Although they had a great time, Carter was ready to see his mom and dad by noon the next day. And we were ready to see him too!!! Thanks, Mom and Dad, for making the weekend so fun for our little boy!!!
