So far, 2012 has been good to us! The weather has been fabulous by Iowa standards - 40 to 50 degrees and sunny most days. Seriously??? How is that possible? We've been on several walks and the kids played in the backyard today while I made lunch. A first for us, since Brynn wasn't walking this fall and so she of course couldn't play in the yard. She loved climbing on the playset in the backyard today for sure! What a big girl! Brynn has changed so much in the last 3 weeks. She says mama, dada, no-no, uh-oh, hi, and "da-do" for Carter. She's walking great - and even pushed her stroller in the mall today rather than riding in it. What's happening to my baby?? :) Carter is loving being 4 years old. He's liking school and is moving away from the train obsession little by little. Right at the moment, he's loving his Cars 2 video game and likes playing with cars again. He's been really fun and pretty easy. I feel like both of my kids are growing up way too fast!
It seems like alot has happened since I last posted. Cary had off the week between Christmas and New Year's which was so fun! We celebrated Christmas with Cary's grandma in Mt. Ayr. And we rang in the New Year with the Donnenwerth's. We went to a family wedding, booked a trip to Key West and had the 4th Annual Coppola bake-off. So far, January has been a blast! :) Here are some photos:
