We ended our week of celebrations with one big party - Carter's 4th birthday party! The day started at Mom and Dad's since we'd spent the night there. We also had a short Christmas gathering at my Grandpa and Grandma Sorensen's house. Most of my cousins were there so it was fun to see everyone. We wanted to make sure both kids took a good afternoon nap, so we only stayed at my grandparents' for a little while. Then we headed home to nap and prepare for the big birthday party.
Carter's party was at Playground for Kids in Ankeny from 6:00 - 8:00. He loves going there and playing on the big treehouse and bounce houses, so it was the perfect place for his party. Right before we left, he opened his presents from us. Some more Cars 2 characters, a Nerf gun, and a big truck with a trailer behind it.
Carter's party was a blast. He has lots of friends there, a Cars 2 cake, and so many presents. What a spoiled little guy!
