Last Tuesday, October 23rd, our newest niece was born... Nina Katherine Coppola! Cary's brother Tony and his wife Kelly have quite the birth story, but that's their story to tell, not mine. This is when I REALLY wished that Kelly blogged! So last Friday Cary and I made a quick trip to Decorah to meet the little peanut. She is absolutely beautiful, has a full head of dark hair, looks pretty in pink, and was a good little snuggler! For those of you counting, this is the 3rd girl in a row for the Coppola family. We started off with 5 boys (Carter is #4), then came Brynn, followed by Saylor 10 months later, and now another girl a year later!! We're all so excited for the newest addition and we love her already!
And for those of you who know Brynn very well would know that she's really excited about Nina's name. Since this summer, Brynn has referred to every baby doll as Nina. Really the word "Nina" is used a replacement for the word "baby" in our house. We say "Brynn, go get your Ninas" or "Which Nina do you want, Brynn?" That just makes us love real Baby Nina even more!!!
