Saturday was our baby's 2nd birthday. It's so hard to believe that she's so old, yet it seems like she's been a part of our family forever. Since her party wasn't until Sunday, we tried to make her actual birthday special too. It started with some presents...
Then we tried to go to our brand new Dunkin' Donuts for some donuts and coffee, but there was a 30 minute wait. Good for Dunkin' Donuts' business, bad for us. So we decided to check out Des Moines' newest HUGE Hy-Vee. The donuts (and the awesome Hy-Vee) didn't disappoint.
Then it was time for a little walk in the neighborhood with Brynn's new backpack - definitely one of her favorite presents.
Followed by a little reading, wrestling and playing with Brynn's new baby center.
And the rest of the day kind of steered away from Brynn for awhile. We ended up spending the afternoon and evening cleaning Cary's new office. It was fun to see it all come together and the kids were great too!!
Sunday was the big day!
The party was a Dora theme and we had a taco bar and birthday cake. Everyone that came was immediate family - but that still was 9 kids and 12 adults!!! The little girl is sure loved!! She was SPOILED with so many great presents and she really loved playing with her cousins.
