Just some funny and fun photos of the kids this last week...

Brynn learned how to take photos on my phone recently and she decided to line up all of her Barbies and take their pictures.  Here's one from the professional Barbie photo shoot:  :)

Last Wednesday was Kindergarten Round-Up so Carter didn't have school.  I took them to Playground for Kids in Ankeny and they had the best time.  They can be best friends sometimes.

Big news at our house...Carter can ride his bike without training wheels.  We took them off last Sunday and just worked on balancing while the bike was moving.  Over this past weekend, we took the bike to my parents' house and my dad worked with him a little bit too.  And then last night, Carter was able to go all the way to the end of the cul-de-sac and back around without falling.  He can steer and balance and stop but just needs a little help getting started.  I think one more day of practice and he'll be good to go.  Cary ran with him around the cul-de-sac at least 5 times yesterday...no need to go to the gym to burn calories.  :)

Brynn thought she was so funny wearing my glasses the other day.   Twins first thing in the morning. 

And a photo to show them when they're in high school.  There were tornado warnings last night and so we had both kids sleep in Carter's room since it's in the basement.  They actually like to have "sleepovers" most weekend nights, but usually they sleep in sleeping bags on his floor.  Last night they both wanted to be in his bed, which had it's share of problems.  Brynn was squeezing Carter's face making funny faces and Carter said she wasn't giving him any room, etc, etc.  When we checked on them around midnight, this is what we found.  This picture really shows their personalities perfectly....Carter laying all straight and on his side, Brynn completely all over the place.  Gotta love it!
