Thanksgiving Weekend

I'm a little behind on posting, but I wanted to share a few photos from Thanksgiving weekend.  As always, Thanksgiving day included quite a bit of driving for our family. We always try to make it to both sides of the family in one day, which actually works out really well. The morning was spent at Sun Valley Lake with the Taylor side of the family. Then we drove to Guthrie to spend the late afternoon and evening with my family and all of my grandparents. It was a great day - lots of time spent with the family, great food, good conversations, and lots of laughs.

After we made it home from the day of travels, I did my first ever Black Friday shopping at 6:00am.  It was really fun and I did find a few good deals!  Then we spent the rest of the day just lounging around the house, watching football, and decorating for Christmas. 

On Friday night, we went to dinner and bowling with Alicia and her boyfriend Jeff.  It was such a fun night!  The kids were great at the restaurant and actually really enjoyed bowling.  In fact, Carter asked if he could bowl every weekend.  :) 

On Saturday, the kids ended up going to my parents' for a sleepover, so Cary and I celebrated our 8th anniversary.  We started by finishing up some Christmas shopping for the kids and then catching up on some DVR'd showed.  Then we went to Sam and Gabe's for dinner and drinks.  It was so nice to have a little free time together, laugh alot, have some drinks, and just enjoy each other's company. :)  But, as always, it was nice to pick up the kids on Sunday and get back to the normal routine with two little ones in house.
