The room is across the hall from Carter's current bedroom and is much larger than the nursery. It has two great windows and lots of natural light, so we are excited about the potential of the room. Since we have spent very little time and even less effort in this space, it needs a little work.
Over the weekend, Cary ripped out the wood trim and closet door, and installed four recess lights. The room looks so much cleaner and brighter! It feels great to have the demolition part completed - now onto the fun part...painting, putting up the white trim, and adding the furniture! I can't wait!

Carter was eager to help and wanted to watch everything that Cary was doing. He's excited about his new room too. As we were getting him ready for bed last night, he ran circles in his room, did somersaults through it, and "rolled around like a snake." I think he likes having a little more space to play in. Let's just see if he likes sleeping in there too!
