Christmas #4 - Grandma Phyllis' House
Although we already celebrated Christmas with my Grandma Phyllis and the Priestley side of the family at Thanksgiving, we had a smaller get-together on the night of the 23rd. We had soups and salads for dinner and only a few presents for the kids. It was small and quiet and relaxing. And since the weather was turning ugly, we didn't stay too long. One highlight of the night was watching my niece Katelyn and my cousin's daughter, Jenna, do the dishes. That Jenna really knows her way around a sink! Seriously, she takes the wash cloth and scrubs those dishes clean...and she's not even 4 yet! Katie didn't want to miss out on the fun, so she pulled up a chair and joined Jenna. These two are just so darn cute!
Here are a few pictures of Carter opening his presents. Yes...in the next few posts you will see way more pictures of Carter opening presents than you will ever care to see. I kept trying to get him to look up and say cheese. But, really, what was I thinking? Of course he's not going to look up at me...he's too busy checking out his loot.
